A well-established public accounting firm is growing with several positions open. The firm is recognized for its strong technical expertise, exceptional client service, and supportive, people-first culture. Due to continued growth, Senior Tax Manager and Staff Accountant openings are available.  The Senior Tax Manager position offers possible growth to a Partner level.

Position Summary

These roles offer opportunities for leadership, team development, client-facing work, and long-term advancement. The ideal candidates will have strong tax technical skills, experience managing engagements, and a desire to contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage a broad range of tax returns (individual, partnership, corporate, trust)
  • Lead and mentor staff and senior tax professionals
  • Oversee engagement planning, workflow, and timely delivery of client work
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Identify tax planning strategies and support business development as needed
  • Participate in process improvements and firmwide initiatives

Qualifications

Tax Manager/Senior Manager:

  • 8+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Willingness to step in and take over a large book of business ($800k-$900k revenue)
  • Grow with the firm and become equity partner
  • Certifications: CPA/EA
  • Services: SMB, individual, corporations, partnerships, planning, trust, estates, partner with 3-4 financial groups

Staff Accountant:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Certifications: CPA/EA not required but would help
  • Services: SMB, individual, corporations, partnerships, planning, trust, estates, partner with 3-4 financial groups
