Maintenance Technician – PM Shift

Food Manufacturing | Northern Illinois

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment
• Troubleshoot production equipment and plant mechanical systems, implementing long-term solutions
• Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components including:
  • Gearboxes, sprockets/chains, belts, clutches, bearings, brakes, seals, and gaskets
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and team-based projects
• Provide suggestions to improve processes and equipment reliability

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  OR

• 3+ years of experience working with industrial equipment such as boilers, chillers, or HVAC
• Strong mechanical background in a production setting
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
