Senior Project Manager – High-End Luxury Custom Homes
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the construction of high-end luxury custom homes. This role is ideal for a hands-on builder who understands the field, works well with discerning clients, and knows how to control cost, quality, and schedule.
This is not a desk-only position. The role is expected to be approximately 70% field-based, with the remainder focused on planning, coordination, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Manage luxury custom home projects from preconstruction through closeout
Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, and designers
Oversee schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
Lead subcontractors and vendors with a strong on-site presence
Maintain quality control, safety standards, and attention to detail
Proactively solve problems and keep projects moving forward
Build and maintain strong relationships with local trades and suppliers
Balance field leadership with office responsibilities such as documentation and scheduling
Use Buildertrend or similar software to manage projects and communication
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in high-end / luxury custom home construction
Strong client-facing skills; calm, professional, and level-headed
Proven cost management and budgeting experience
Hands-on builder who understands construction means and methods
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Established relationships with local subcontractors and vendors
Comfortable working in both the field and office environment
Buildertrend experience is a plus
