Senior Project Manager – High-End Luxury Custom Homes

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the construction of high-end luxury custom homes. This role is ideal for a hands-on builder who understands the field, works well with discerning clients, and knows how to control cost, quality, and schedule.

This is not a desk-only position. The role is expected to be approximately 70% field-based, with the remainder focused on planning, coordination, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage luxury custom home projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, and designers

• Oversee schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders

• Lead subcontractors and vendors with a strong on-site presence

• Maintain quality control, safety standards, and attention to detail

• Proactively solve problems and keep projects moving forward

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local trades and suppliers

• Balance field leadership with office responsibilities such as documentation and scheduling

• Use Buildertrend or similar software to manage projects and communication

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in high-end / luxury custom home construction

• Strong client-facing skills; calm, professional, and level-headed

• Proven cost management and budgeting experience

• Hands-on builder who understands construction means and methods

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Established relationships with local subcontractors and vendors

• Comfortable working in both the field and office environment

• Buildertrend experience is a plus
