We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Legal Intake Assistant to join a growing law firm. This role is often the first point of contact for potential clients, making it a vital position that combines strong communication skills with organization and professionalism.
Position Overview
The Legal Intake Assistant is responsible for handling inbound inquiries, gathering key case information, and determining whether potential clients meet the firm’s criteria for representation. This role plays a critical part in client experience and firm growth.
Compensation & Incentives
$21.64/hour during training
$22.64/hour once independently performing position functions
Monthly intake bonuses, averaging approximately $10,000 annually
Opportunities for performance-based growth
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls and respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally
Conduct structured intake interviews to gather accurate case information
Evaluate potential cases based on firm guidelines
Enter and maintain client information in case management systems
Schedule consultations and route qualified cases to the appropriate team
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
Comfortable speaking with individuals during stressful or emotional situations
Prior legal intake, call center, or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to work independently after training while meeting performance expectations
