Professional Transportation Engineer

They currently have several Transportation Engineer openings for all experience levels, including opportunities for candidates with their P.E., or E.I.T.
Key Responsibilities:
- Roadway/Intersection Design: preliminary/final layouts, roundabouts, J-turns, and interchanges.
- ADA Compliance: Design accessible pedestrian facilities for new and retrofit projects.
- Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Integrate roadway, drainage, and traffic designs.
- PS&E Production: Lead complete plan, specification, and estimate packages.
- Quality Assurance: Review technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Project Management: Oversee design teams, schedules, and budgets.
- Mentorship: Support junior staff in technical development and engineering judgment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 4+ years transportation design experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong technical knowledge including MnDOT State Aid Standards
- Experience mentoring project staff and generating proposals, scopes, and budgets
- Background in utility design (watermain and sewer)
- Excellent communication and project leadership skills
