Bookkeeper/Accountant

GPAC is currently assisting a growing and stable client with their search for a Bookkeeper/Accountant. This is a Commercial Roofing company that has been in business for over 15 years and is looking to add a full-time bookkeeper to their team. This individual will be responsible for accounting operations and more within the company and will be expected to be in office operating with the rest of the team

Bookkeeper/Accountant Responsibilities:

• Planning, directing, and coordinating accounting operational functions
• Annual budgeting and forecasting
• Month end closing responsibilities
• Preparation of financial statements
• Work with auditors
• Work closely with leadership team
• Ensure compliance

Bookkeeper/Accountant Background Requirements:

• 3+ years of QuickBooks Desktop Experience
• Construction Job Costing and project Accounting experience
• B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related field, OR Credentials of a CPA (preferred)
• Minimum of three years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Experience working win Construction world is preferred
• Strong financial management and business acumen
