A respected Hermosa Beach law firm is hiring an Associate Attorney to join its team. In this on-site role with schedule flexibility, you'll start by supporting senior attorneys on active cases, learning the practice hands-on with close mentorship. As you build experience, you'll take on more responsibility, with a clear path to grow.
What you'll do:
- Support senior attorneys on active cases from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy
- Assist with depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Help prepare cases for trial
- Work closely with clients and the attorney team
What you bring:
- 0-3 years of legal experience (new attorneys welcome)
- Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Organization and attention to detail
- A collaborative, team-first approach and eagerness to learn
