Nursery & Greenhouse General Manager Trainee

Salary: $73,000–$85,000 + Benefits

GPAC has partnered with a well-established, nationwide nursery and greenhouse company seeking career-minded professionals with greenhouse or nursery experience who are ready to grow into leadership. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an 18–24 month management training program designed to prepare high-potential candidates for a General Nursery Manager role.

This company is committed to developing future leaders through hands-on training and mentorship. Upon successful completion of the program, you will transition into a General Nursery Manager position overseeing your own growing location.

What You'll Do

Throughout the training program, you'll gain hands-on experience in every aspect of nursery and greenhouse operations, including:

• Greenhouse and nursery production
• Inventory and operational management
• Team leadership and employee development
• Recruiting, hiring, and supervising sales staff
• Sales and customer service
• Financial management and business operations
• Leadership development and strategic planning

Qualifications

• Background in greenhouse, nursery, horticulture, or related agricultural operations
• Experience hiring, leading, and managing a sales team
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Hands-on management style with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for horticulture and developing successful teams
• Willingness to relocate anywhere within the company's network following completion of the 18–24 month training program
