A leading commercial electrical contractor in Canton is seeking a Construction Safety Director to lead and elevate its company-wide safety program. This is a high-impact leadership role for a safety professional with strong field experience and a proactive, hands-on approach.
The Safety Director will oversee all aspects of safety across multiple commercial projects including high-end commercial developments. This role will work closely with field leadership, project management, and executive leadership to ensure a culture of safety is embedded throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage company-wide safety programs and protocols
Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and safety training
Lead incident investigations and reporting
Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry regulations
Promote a culture of safety across all levels of the organization
Mentor and coach field personnel on best practices
Ideal Candidate Has:
7+ years of construction safety experience, with at least 3 in electrical or MEP-related projects
OSHA 30 (minimum), CHST or CSP preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience working on large-scale commercial
