General Liability Associate Attorney

A well-established and growing firm is seeking a skilled General Liability Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex, high-exposure matters and work alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a caseload of general liability matters from intake through resolution
• Handle cases involving personal injury, premises liability, and property damage
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Evaluate risk and advise clients on liability exposure and case strategy
• Negotiate settlements and contribute to favorable outcomes for clients
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on litigation strategy

What We’re Looking For:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Washington Bar
• 5+ years of experience in insurance defense and/or general liability litigation
• Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
• Ability to independently manage cases while contributing to a team
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
