About the Role
A leading commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead large-scale, complex commercial projects in the Raleigh market. This position is best suited for a seasoned field leader with a proven track record managing major projects, mentoring teams, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead field operations on mid- to large-scale commercial construction projects
Develop and manage project schedules and site logistics plans
Oversee multiple superintendents or large field teams, as applicable
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
Serve as the primary on-site leader and point of contact
Collaborate with project executives and owners to drive successful outcomes
Proactively identify and mitigate risk throughout the project lifecycle
Lead punch, turnover, and closeout processes
Qualifications
8–15+ years of experience as a commercial superintendent
Proven experience leading large or complex commercial projects
Strong background in ground-up construction and/or major renovations
Ability to manage multiple subcontractor scopes and aggressive schedules
Exceptional leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
OSHA 30 required
