Job Title: Pubic Law Attorney

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Public Law Attorney to join our growing practice in Akron. This position offers the opportunity to work directly alongside a senior partner who serves as Solicitor for multiple municipalities in the Akron area. The ideal candidate will be interested in municipal and public-sector law and eager to develop hands-on experience advising local governments on a wide range of legal matters.
As a Public Law Attorney, you will:
Work closely with a partner serving as Solicitor to several municipalities advising them on governance, employment law issues, compliance, land use and zoning, contracts and regulatory matters.
Attend council and board meetings as needed
Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel on public law issues
Assist with litigation and administrative proceedings involving municipal entities
This is a unique opportunity to gain meaningful courtroom experience while working directly with experienced municipal counsel.
