A highly respected, family-owned funeral home is seeking an experienced Funeral Director/Embalmer ready to step into a Managing Director–level role.
This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership position within a close-knit, community-focused firm—overseeing operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring exceptional service to families during their most important moments.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee daily funeral home operations
• Direct and support staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented culture
• Meet with families to arrange meaningful, personalized services
• Ensure seamless coordination of all services (visitations, ceremonies, burials)
• Perform embalming and preparation with the highest professional standards
• Maintain compliance with all state regulations and internal protocols
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and vendors
• Uphold the highest level of care, dignity, and professionalism in all services
✅ What We’re Looking For:
• Active Funeral Director/Embalmer license
• Strong background in funeral service, including arrangements and embalming
• Proven leadership or management experience within a funeral home setting
• Ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive service excellence
• Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate approach
• High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
