Job Description

As a Insurance Producer, you will play a key role in driving agency growth by developing new business and building long-term relationships with clients and carrier partners. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, growth-focused agency that values expertise, initiative, and client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow a book of business

• Prospect, identify, and secure new business through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach

• Assess client operations and risk exposures to recommend tailored coverage solutions

• Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service

• Cross-sell and upsell coverages to maximize account growth and retention

• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to access competitive markets

• Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and carrier appetites

• Participate in agency meetings and contribute to sales strategies and goals

• Act as a trusted advisor by delivering exceptional client service

• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize the agency management system effectively

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in insurance sales

• Active Minnesota insurance license (required) 

• Proven prospecting, sales, and negotiation skills

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

• Excellent organization and time-management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
