Seeking: Experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Electrical Technician for a facility with world-class uptime standards. Candidates should have expert knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and components.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance, following diagrams, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
- Diagnose equipment issues by observing machinery in operation, listening for abnormalities, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools while inspecting components for wear and damage.
- Adjust, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and control devices to ensure proper operation.
- Minimize downtime by coordinating preventive maintenance activities with production personnel and monitoring compliance with maintenance procedures.
- Fabricate or modify repair parts using machine shop equipment and instrumentation as needed.
- Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
- Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing maintenance activities and equipment trends.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending training, reviewing technical publications, and staying current with industry best practices.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all company procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
