Associate Attorney – Business Litigation

A well-established, boutique litigation firm based in San Diego is seeking to add one to two Associate Attorneys to its growing team. With over two decades of legal legacy and more than a decade in its current structure, the firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-level legal services across a diverse client base.

The firm offers a collaborative, close-knit environment with exceptionally low turnover. Associates benefit from direct mentorship by senior leadership, including hands-on involvement from the founding partner. The firm owns its office space, provides paid parking, and represents business clients on a national scale.


Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigation attorney to gain exposure to a broad range of matters, with a primary focus on business litigation.

  • Title: Associate Attorney – Business Litigation
  • Location: San Diego, CA (onsite 4 days, 1 at home)
  • Openings: 1–2 attorneys

Practice Areas Include:

  • Business & Commercial Litigation
  • Employment Law
  • Business-to-Business Disputes & Collections
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
  • Real Property & Construction Disputes
  • Insurance Coverage

Candidate Profile

  • 2–8 years of civil litigation experience (more junior candidates considered)
  • Background in business litigation preferred; employment law experience a plus
  • Open to candidates from general liability, insurance defense, or similar litigation backgrounds
  • Ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution
  • Experience taking/defending depositions, arbitrations, or bench trials strongly preferred
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $200,000 (DOE)
  • Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
  • Billable Requirement: 1,750 hours
