Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with families to guide them through arrangement conferences, helping create personalized and meaningful funeral services
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of services, including visitations, ceremonies, and burials, ensuring all details align with family wishes and legal requirements
  • Perform embalming and preparation with strict adherence to health, safety, and professional standards
  • Provide compassionate, professional support to families during difficult times
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all services and arrangements
  • Collaborate with clergy, cemeteries, florists, and other partners to ensure seamless service execution

Qualifications:

  • Active Funeral Director/Embalmer license (state required)
  • Proven experience in funeral service, including arrangements and embalming
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
