We are partnering with a company who is looking to bring a PLS to their team. The company is family-owned and operated, with great culture and low turnover. They've been in business for over 10 years, and steadily grown since. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up with their surveying career. The ideal candidate has significant office experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction staking surveys.
- Utilize and maintain survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in survey technology.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying laws and regulations.
- Appear in the Monroe office Monday-Thursday, and the Fort Wayne office on Fridays.
Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Indiana or ability to obtain soon.
- 3+ years of experience in land surveying, with a strong understanding of survey principles and practices.
- Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS applications, and data collection tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with drone technology, 3D scanning, or construction staking is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
