The Firm
A premier, high-stakes law firm in Beverly Hills is seeking a skilled Tort Litigation Associate to join their growing team. Known for securing multi-million dollar results, the firm specializes in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and mass torts. This is an opportunity for a high-performing attorney to transition from "paperwork" to "courtroom," working on a sophisticated docket of complex cases.
The Role
As a 4+ year associate, you will hit the ground running with significant autonomy over your caseload. You won’t just be a researcher; you will be the primary driver of your cases from inception through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of high-value tort and personal injury matters.
Conduct and defend complex depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
Draft and argue substantive motions, including MSJs and discovery motions.
Coordinate with medical experts and accident reconstructionist to build liability and damages.
Lead settlement negotiations and represent clients in mediation and trial.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, specifically within Tort Law (Plaintiff or Defense).
Education: J.D. from an accredited law school and active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
Skills: Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills are non-negotiable. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess a "trial-ready" mindset.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Los Angeles Superior Court (LASC) system and local Beverly Hills/LA legal community.
