Insurance Defense Associate Attorney | Dallas, TX

A well-established Dallas law firm is seeking a Transportation Defense / Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with 2–7 years of litigation experience to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling transportation defense litigation, trucking litigation, or general insurance defense matters and be eager to continue developing their litigation skills in a busy, supportive environment.

What You'll Do

• Defend transportation, trucking, and general insurance defense matters through all phases of litigation
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive legal filings
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Develop litigation strategy while working closely with experienced attorneys
• Manage an active caseload and build strong relationships with clients and carriers

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar license
• 2–7 years of transportation defense, trucking litigation, or insurance defense experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Organized, self-motivated attorney with excellent communication skills
• Team-oriented professional seeking a long-term opportunity
