About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Attorney to join our growing litigation team, focusing on commercial truck wreck cases. This role is ideal for a trial-ready attorney who thrives in high-stakes litigation and is passionate about advocating for seriously injured clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex catastrophic injury and trucking accident cases from intake through resolution
  • Conduct case investigations, develop liability theories, and assess damages
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; take and defend depositions
  • Work closely with medical experts, accident reconstructionists, and other specialists
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations
  • Prepare for and lead jury trials when necessary
  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure efficient case progression and client communication

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • Minimum of 5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
  • Open to attorneys from the defense side
  • Must have hands on trucking litigation experience
  • Proven track record of case results, including settlements and/or verdicts
  • Strong courtroom presence and trial preparation skills
  • Trial experience highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
