Law Firm Tax Manager (CPA Required)

A growing and highly respected law firm in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Tax Manager with law firm tax experience to lead complex client engagements and mentor a high-performing tax team. This is a hybrid role offering professional growth, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex tax compliance and planning engagements specific to law firm clients
• Handle flow-through entities and related 1040 returns
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on tax planning and strategy
• Review staff-prepared returns for technical accuracy
• Lead, mentor, and develop a tax team within the law firm

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required
• 5-7+ years of tax experience in a law firm setting
• Strong background in complex business entities and individual 1040s
• Experience in tax compliance, planning, and client engagement
• Proven tax reviewer and team leader
• Public Accounting experience a plus, but law firm experience is required
