A well-established structural engineering firm in the Greater Boston area is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer ready to step into a lead role on challenging commercial, institutional, and residential mid-rise projects.
This is more than just a technical position—this is a visible, high-impact role with direct client interaction, team oversight, and a clear path to future firm leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the design and analysis of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
Oversee project delivery from concept through construction
Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, developers, and contractors
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical development
Attend site visits, perform inspections, and manage client relationships
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Structural or Civil Engineering
8–15+ years of experience in structural design and analysis
PE license required; SE preferred or a strong plus
Proficiency in Revit, RAM, ETABS, and/or RISA
Experience with commercial, institutional, or mixed-use buildings
Confidence in a client-facing and leadership role
