Job Description

Project Manager – Civil Construction 

(Excavation & Underground Utilities)


Employment Type: Full-Time


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule projects and monitor progress to maintain deadlines

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers

  • Ensure timely processing of project paperwork, correspondence, and submittals

  • Collaborate effectively with all project team members

  • Manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously

  • Review drawings and provide feedback to the project team

  • Work well under pressure and meet project timelines

  • Perform electronic take-offs of construction documents for earthwork quantities using software

  • Oversee complete take-offs and input data into software programs


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Science, or Construction Management

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, email communications, and scheduling tools

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proficient in interpreting specifications and reading blueprints

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of construction project management experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in excavation and underground utility construction

  • Experience with electronic scheduling software such as Microsoft Project

  • Familiarity with B2W and Agtek software
