Job Title: Civil Litigation Defense Attorney

Responsibilities
As a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney, you will manage a diverse litigation docket and handle matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload of approximately 30–40 active matters

• Litigating cases through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial

• Conducting legal research and providing strategic recommendations to clients

• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses

• Taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and working with experts

• Collaborating with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members

Qualifications
The ideal Civil Litigation Defense Attorney will possess:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active law license in good standing

• 3+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience

• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage a busy docket while contributing to a team environment
