Title: Employee Benefits Producer

Location: In-person/Hybrid, SE Bergen County, NJ

Compensation: Base+ Commission

Job Summary: We are seeking a driven and results-oriented professional to join our team as an Employee Benefits Producer. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in acquiring new business, expanding coverage with existing clients, and ensuring client retention to meet production objectives.

The role involves overseeing sales outcomes, fostering strong relationships with both clients and prospective clients, identifying new opportunities, and successfully developing these into long-term partnerships. You’ll also have access to our exclusive software designed to streamline quoting for small business risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through diverse channels, including phone calls, networking, and various lead-generation methods.
  • Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline of potential customers.
  • Collaborate with multiple insurance carriers and underwriters on a daily basis.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals for insurance coverage, deliver impactful sales presentations, and secure new business deals.
  • Address client inquiries regarding policy options, pricing, and other coverage-related matters.
  • Gather, organize, and oversee essential details for account renewals.
  • Stay informed about the latest insurance products and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.

Qualifications

  • Active LAH License
  • 3+ years health insurance sales experience
  • Possess a consultative, growth minded and resourceful practice 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs
