Overview: Our client is seeking a driven and relationship-focused HVAC Sales Engineer to lead growth initiatives by delivering technical solutions and closing high-value projects. This is a consultative role where you’ll partner with contractors, consulting engineers, and building owners to specify, quote, and sell HVAC systems—helping shape energy-efficient buildings across a dynamic market.
You’ll be the technical and strategic bridge between engineering, estimating, manufacturers, and end users—managing the full project lifecycle while driving sales performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Cultivate strong relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and owners to become a trusted HVAC resource.
Lead technical discussions and system design reviews to ensure accurate product selection and optimal solutions.
Collaborate with internal estimating and project support teams to manage bids, proposals, and delivery schedules.
Troubleshoot and resolve pre-sale and post-sale technical challenges with manufacturers and customers.
Track project progress, coordinate timelines, and ensure smooth handoffs from design through installation.
Stay ahead of market trends and competitor offerings to sharpen your consultative edge.
Identify new business opportunities and deepen existing accounts to fuel long-term revenue growth.
What You Bring to the Table:
Proven success in HVAC sales, mechanical contracting, or equipment rep/distribution.
Deep understanding of HVAC system design, equipment selection, and project lifecycle sales.
Strong network within the mechanical engineering and construction community is a plus.
Clear communicator with sharp presentation and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, competitive, and resilient in a fast-paced, technical sales environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred—or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
