Insurance Defense Associate Attorney – Jacksonville metro, FL
Compensation: $120K–$140K base salary + Bonuses

A highly regarded insurance defense firm in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced and trial-ready Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is an exceptional opportunity for attorneys with 2+ years of experience in general liability, civil litigation, or insurance defense who are eager to take ownership of their caseload and advance within a dynamic, high-performing practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including premises liability, bodily injury, and general liability claims

  • Handle all phases of litigation from pre-suit through trial

  • Conduct depositions, hearings, motion practice, and trials

  • Collaborate closely with senior partners, clients, and support staff on case strategy and resolution



Candidate Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on insurance defense or general liability

  • Proven courtroom experience and a desire to deepen trial skills

  • Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy abilities

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar



Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of $120K–$140K, depending on experience
