Job Description: Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney. The successful candidate will handle a caseload of workers' compensation defense matters, provide legal counsel to clients, and advocate in administrative hearings and court proceedings.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence related to workers' compensation claims.
  • Represent employers and insurers in administrative hearings, mediations, and court trials.
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and develop defense strategies.
  • Provide legal advice to clients regarding coverage, claims handling, and liability issues.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and legal precedents affecting workers' compensation law.
  • Collaborate with claims adjusters, clients, and third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the state bar and good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law and defense.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
  • Knowledge of relevant state laws and regulations.
