Position: Customer Service / Permit Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-Time, M–F, 8 AM – 5 PM

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service / Permit Coordinator to join a high-end residential construction team. This role is critical for ensuring smooth operations, coordinating permits, and managing client and subcontractor communications. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-motivated, and has excellent people skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming warranty requests and coordinate service calls with field teams and homeowners.

  • Assist with building permits and communicate with local municipalities to secure approvals for new construction.

  • Support sales, owners, and designers with change order requests.

  • Maintain accurate records, follow-up on outstanding items, and ensure excellent client communication.

  • Collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience; stable work history preferred.

  • Custom home or construction experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Understanding of construction terminology; permit experience preferred.

  • Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Honest, reliable, and highly organized.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to manage sensitive situations with professionalism.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Buildertrend or QuickBooks experience is a bonus.

  • Local candidates preferred.
