The Opportunity

An established, growth-oriented family law firm based in the Greater Seattle area is seeking an ambitious Family Law Attorney with 2+ years of Washington State Bar experience.

This role goes beyond litigation. The firm is actively expanding into a full family lifecycle model—spanning litigation, collaborative divorce, relationship agreements, and estate planning. This is an exceptional fit for an attorney who wants to help refine systems, contribute big ideas, and develop mastery across both litigation and collaborative practice within a highly supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Independently manage a varied family law caseload from initial client engagement through resolution.

  • Advise clients on legal strategy with clarity, empathy, and sound professional judgment.

  • Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

  • Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, agreements, and key legal correspondence.

  • Partner with a dedicated, client-centered team committed to high standards and modern legal solutions.

What You Bring

  • Active license to practice law in Washington State (required).

  • 2+ years of family law attorney experience.

  • Experience or strong interest in litigation, mediation, and collaborative law practice.

  • Familiarity with King, Snohomish, and Pierce County court rules (or the ability to master them quickly).

  • Superior legal writing (writing sample required), analytical proficiency, exceptional communication skills, and disciplined caseload management.

  • Comfort working in a fully remote setup with the flexibility to attend in-person court appearances, mediations, and client meetings as needed.

What Sets This Firm Apart

  • Reimagining family law by supporting families through every stage—from proactive relationship agreements to long-term estate planning.

  • Actively leading the movement to make Collaborative Law a primary approach while maintaining top-tier litigation excellence.

  • Comprehensive mentorship, internal education, and defined career pathways for long-term professional development.

  • A collaborative, low-burnout environment (1,600 billable target) centered around accountability, innovation, and exceptional client outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $120,000 – $220,000 per year base salary, commensurate with experience.

  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.

  • Partially subsidized medical and dental insurance, plus long-term disability and life insurance.

  • 401(k) plan with employer matching.

  • Up to 4 weeks paid time off (PTO).

  • Fully remote work-from-home setup with established tools to keep you connected and supported.
