Vice President / Branch Director – Brokerage Startup (Confidential)

Location:  To be decided

Compensation: $150,000 – $225,000 Base + Aggressive Commission Structure + Equity Consideration
Location: Flexible / Remote with leadership presence as needed
Industry: Transportation & Logistics Brokerage

We are seeking a high-impact, executive-level leader to build and scale a freight brokerage operation from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role. This is a builder’s role.

We want a proven rainmaker and operator who has already built, scaled, and led high-performing brokerage teams and can be trusted to own the P&L as if it were their own company.

Who You Are

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in logistics sales and/or freight brokerage
  • Demonstrated success building or significantly scaling a brokerage operation
  • Proven record of closing enterprise-level freight opportunities
  • Deep carrier network and shipper relationships
  • Strong financial acumen with full P&L ownership experience
  • Experienced hiring, mentoring, and developing hunter-driven sales teams
  • Unquestioned integrity — trusted with sensitive financials, strategy, and growth plans
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline of an operator

What You’ll Do

  • Launch and scale a brokerage division with full operational oversight
  • Build and lead a high-performance sales organization
  • Develop strategic carrier and shipper partnerships
  • Establish SOPs, compliance standards, and operational infrastructure
  • Drive aggressive but profitable revenue growth
  • Own margin management and overall branch profitability
  • Partner directly with executive leadership on expansion strategy
