Automation/Controls Engineer

We are seeking a talented and driven Automation/Controls Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about Automation, System Design/Integration, and working with AI. This role offers a rare blend of hands-on engineering and system development- you'll be involved in programming, automation, and AI integration while also supporting production with high-level maintenance and trouble shooting. It’s a chance to participate in industry leading manufacturing with a well-established, growing company!

Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of programing to Control Systems, HMI's, PLC's, Robotic Integration and Automated Monitoring systems.
  • Support production by assisting in high-level trouble shooting and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to ensure meet deadlines and support production.
  • Translate innovative ideas into real world solutions for the manufacturing process.
  • Identify root cause issues and enhance system design and performance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or related industry preferred.
  • Proficient with PLCs, Automation, Systems Integration, SCADA, and Robotics (Siemens experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of design, installation, and programming of electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
  • Passion for hands-on engineering, innovation, and problem-solving.
