We are a reputable heavy civil construction firm specializing in infrastructure projects, including utilities, earthwork, and bridge construction. We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team and drive project success.
The Project Manager (Heavy Civil Construction) will oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager and involves managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Plan, execute, and manage heavy civil construction projects from start to finish.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, monitoring progress to ensure milestones are met.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Oversee utilities, earthwork, and bridge construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, including CDOT standards when applicable.
Communicate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to address concerns and provide project updates.
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain project timelines.
Approximately 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management.
Strong knowledge of utilities, earthwork, and bridge construction processes and techniques.
Experience working on CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation) projects is highly preferred.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and teams effectively.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Starting salary: $100,000+, depending on experience.
