Maintenance Engineer

A well-established, safety-driven manufacturing operation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead equipment reliability, maximize up time, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced industrial environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities who wants to play a key role in plant performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and utility systems to minimize downtime
  • Support industrial refrigeration and critical utilities including compressors, pumps, condensers, and heat exchangers
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Diagnosing root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Perform electrical and electronic maintenance independently
  • Support facility upkeep and equipment reliability initiatives across the plant

Qualifications

Required

  • 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • At least one technical certification in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, or maintenance reliability
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and best practices
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred

  • 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Multiple technical certifications (PLC, electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, etc.)
  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery, electrical systems, refrigerants, and varying temperatures
  • Occasional overtime, weekends, or off shift support as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and work with hand and power tools
