General Liability Associate Attorney
📍 Athens or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 1 day/week in office)

Seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney to step into an established and active book of business while building toward a long-term leadership role within a growing firm.

Practice Areas

This role offers a diverse caseload, including:

• General Liability
• Insurance Defense
• Premises Liability
• Auto Liability (including Farm Bureau matters)
• Aviation-related claims (including work connected to major airlines)

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload from intake through resolution
• Take ownership of active files with minimal oversight
• Handle litigation strategy, discovery, and client communication
• Participate in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with firm leadership on case development and growth

Qualifications

• Experience in general liability and/or insurance defense
• Ability to independently manage cases and communicate effectively with clients
• Strong organizational and case management skills
• Trial experience is a plus, but second-chair experience is sufficient
• Interest in growing a book of business and developing long-term client relationships
