One of the most established Midwest contractors is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager — completing projects from Oklahoma City to Sioux Falls. Role and Responsibilities
As a superintendent, you’re the primary presence on the construction project site. From developing and managing daily schedules to coordinating and supervising subcontractors and construction work, to ensuring quality and safety throughout, you’re the force that moves the project forward. With the support of a dynamic project team, you can manage the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring the work is carried out according to the project’s schedule and within its budget. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following, as other duties may be assigned:
- Major contributor and onsite coordinator of project planning and execution including the master and five-week schedule, manpower, material handling, storage requirements and equipment use.
- Plan, lead and coordinate project activation activities, including policies and procedures, site mobilization, outline performance and quality standards, and set safety expectation.
- Maintain an accurate and detailed project schedule, prepare and distribute monthly updates and look-ahead schedules, and ensure subcontractors maintain job momentum and adhere to schedule timelines.
- Implement and manage the company safety program and daily safety inspections to create safe and healthy job site and adhere to Ronco and OSHA record keeping requirements.
- Coordinate, understand and enforce subcontractor assignment and scope of work. Manage productivity issues and monitor work performance and productivity of all project work.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and communicate with project team and executive leadership. Provide and suggest solutions to potential issues as needed.
- Interface with project stakeholders including owner, architect, engineer(s), design professionals and municipalities to ensure compliance to design intent and owner satisfaction.
- Organize and facilitate regular progress meetings including installation meetings, subcontractor meetings, OAC, etc. with applicable project stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Document and manage internal and external document and record keeping requirements, to include accurate daily logs, photos and inspections, as well as required legal, safety and manpower documentation.
- Act as the quality assurance and control liaison to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications and company quality standards.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Assist with close-out process including punch list walk and process, close-out documents (including as-built drawings) and performing building commissioning and owner training.
- Act as a leader and mentor, sharing expertise to develop project team members and field staff.
Requirements
You're ready to contribute to the work and culture of a leading and growing construction company, in that:
- You have at least 10 years of experience as a construction project superintendent or equivalent role, managing constructions with contract values of $10M-35M. Experience with multi-family projects is ideal.
- You have a strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations and requirements.
- You have at a minimum the OSHA 10-hour certification (a copy of your card is required), an OSHA 30-hour is preferred. First aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- You’re proficient with a computer and applicable software programs, including experience with the Microsoft Office suite, Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project.
- You have a working knowledge of estimating and project accounting processes as it relates to site and field reporting, as well as the ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications.
- You’re able to lift at least 30 pounds.
- You have working knowledge and basic understanding of construction activities, including carpentry and operating various types of construction equipment.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You’re a people person and can build relationships with a variety of people including coworkers, clients, subcontractors, field staff and others.
- You’re self-motivated and proactive, accomplishing tasks without direct supervision.
- You have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet and manage deadlines.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
