A global provider of advanced livestock genetic and solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-value Southwest territory. This role combines field leadership with strategic sales execution and oversees a multi-state team supporting a well-established customer base and strong existing revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of 4–5 sales and field specialists
Drive territory revenue growth and expand market share across the Southwest U.S.
Build strong relationships with key producers and strategic accounts
Identify priority customer segments and new business opportunities
Execute regional sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals
Partner with senior leadership on forecasts, budgets, and annual targets
Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
Strengthen regional brand presence and customer engagement
Participate in national sales meetings and leadership planning sessions
Support complex deals and major account development
Qualifications
5–7+ years of proven success in a quota-driven sales environment
Sales leadership or team management experience preferred
Background in agriculture, animal genetics, animal feed, animal health, dairy, or related sectors required
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or similar is a plus)
Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence a distributed field team
Strong presentation and communication skills across multiple audience levels
Strategic thinker with solid territory planning skills
Comfortable balancing leadership and direct selling responsibilities
Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the region
