Personal Injury Defense Attorney (1–10+ Years)
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid or Remote for Senior Attorneys)

A well-established and growing defense firm is seeking a Personal Injury Defense Attorney with 1–10+ years of experience to join its team. This role offers flexibility based on experience level, with hybrid options for junior attorneys and the ability to work fully remote for more senior candidates.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a caseload, has strong analytical and litigation skills, and is confident handling client and carrier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury defense matters from inception through resolution
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
• Take and defend depositions (parties, witnesses, and experts)
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
• Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure for cases
• Communicate regularly with insurance carriers and provide case strategy updates
• Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations
• Prepare cases for trial, with trial experience a plus

Qualifications:

• 1–10+ years of personal injury defense experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience handling depositions and motion practice
• Ability to manage a caseload independently (especially for mid to senior-level candidates)
• Trial experience is a plus but not required
• Active California Bar admission required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $120,000 – $200,000+ (depending on experience)
