A well-established and highly respected insurance company in South Florida is expanding its in-house litigation team and seeking experienced Civil Litigation Attorneys at multiple levels.

This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with at least three years of recent civil litigation experience, as well as mid-to-senior-level attorneys with meaningful trial experience who are ready to take on substantive case responsibility.

The team is particularly interested in candidates with experience handling homeowners insurance and non-standard auto insurance matters.

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; a member in good standing of the Florida Bar
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Highly team-oriented
  • 3+ years of litigation in homeowners insurance and non-standard auto insurance

Responsibilities include:

  • Case management
  • Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
  • Corresponding with clients and opposing counsel
  • Legal and technical research
  • Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
