Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Atlanta)

If you’re a Project Manager who likes owning your jobs, leading a team, and actually seeing things through from start to finish, this could be worth a look.

I’m working with an Atlanta-area general contractor that’s looking for a Senior Project Manager to run commercial projects. This is a group where decisions are made locally, teams are tight, and you’re trusted to do your job without layers of red tape.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll take projects from precon through closeout—owning budget, schedule, and overall execution. You’ll be working directly with owners, architects, engineers, and subs, keeping everything moving and solving problems as they come up.

You’ll also help guide junior PMs and APMs, contribute to precon strategy, and play a role in maintaining the kind of client relationships that lead to repeat work.

Day-to-day looks like:

  • Running commercial projects end-to-end
  • Leading and supporting your project team
  • Being the main point of contact for clients
  • Managing subs, contracts, and coordination with the field
  • Keeping a close eye on costs, changes, and forecasts
  • Working with estimating and ops on schedules, logistics, and risk
  • Making sure safety and quality stay where they should be

What they’re looking for

  • 8+ years in commercial construction
  • Experience running ground-up commercial construction projects
  • Someone who can lead a team, communicate clearly, and keep things on track
