A well-established drywall contractor is seeking a General Manager to oversee company operations, drive business growth, and ensure successful execution of projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing both the field and office teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the company operates efficiently and profitably.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership, direction, and strategic vision for the company.
Manage daily operations including project management, estimating, field supervision, and administration.
Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and performance goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and trade partners.
Oversee staffing, recruitment, training, and performance management of employees.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability across all divisions.
Drive business development opportunities and market expansion.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing projects in commercial drywall, interiors, or related construction.
Strong leadership and management background, ideally with prior experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or Division Manager role.
Proven ability to oversee both field and office operations.
Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgets, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
Strong communication and client relationship skills.
Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
