We are a well-established and reputable personal injury law firm located in the heart of Chicago, dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to injured clients across Illinois. Our firm handles a high volume of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and other negligence-related matters.

  • Position is 100% in office Monday - Friday. 

We are seeking an Experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant with a background in litigation to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation — from case inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and trial exhibits.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and settlement documents.
  • Maintain and organize case files, discovery, and medical records.
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
  • Monitor court deadlines, manage attorney calendars, and schedule client meetings.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, medical providers, and opposing counsel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in a personal injury litigation setting (plaintiff-side strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Illinois civil litigation procedures and court filing systems.
  • Proficiency in legal software such as Microsoft Office, Needles, Clio, or similar case management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
  • Absolutely must have Personal Injury Litigation experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50,000 - $80,000
