gpac is partnering with a well-established company in the meat industry, with multiple plants across the Midwest, to find a Maintenance Superintendent for their SW Minnesota location. Position Overview: The Maintenance Superintendent will oversee a team of approximately 16 employees, including 3 supervisors, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of plant equipment. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and plays a key role in maintaining efficiency and reliability across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on coolers and conveyor systems.

  • Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management of the maintenance team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in maintenance roles.

  • Strong electrical and general mechanical knowledge, especially with coolers and conveyor systems.

  • Food processing experience is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent problem-solving and team-building skills.

Shift: First shift, 6:30 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 base + extended hours pay and bonuses (potential total up to $120,000)
