Operations and Production Manager
Graphics & Signage Company is looking to add a local Operations/Production Manager to the team! This growing company offers their clients valuable knowledge and expertise in Signage & Graphics. Due to the recent growth of the company, there is an opportunity for an Experienced Operations and Production Professional.
Sign Shop Operations and Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Directs the manufacture, storage, and distribution of signs and related materials.
- Reviews or develops specifications for various materials used in sign production.
- Reviews, evaluates, and recommends new or revised methods, procedures, materials, equipment, and techniques for the sign shop.
- Interviews and consults with vendors pertaining to shop equipment, materials, design, and sign manufacturing processes.
- Approves requisitions for sign materials and related hardware.
- Reviews for department approval sign proposals from outside vendors.
- Performs the full range of supervisory duties.
- Employees in this job may participate in the performance of subordinates' work consistent with operational or organizational requirements.
- Performs related work as required.
Sign Shop Operations Manager Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the production methods, equipment, and materials used in the manufacture of signs.
- Knowledge of the principles and standards governing sign use and installation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of inventory management and distribution operations.
- Knowledge of graphic design software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to effectively manage, through subordinate supervisors, the planning and production activities of a sign shop.
