Manage a caseload of civil litigation defense matters in both state and federal courts
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement proposals
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop effective litigation strategies
Maintain proactive and consistent communication with clients
Analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice to defense clients
Prepare and present oral and written arguments in state and federal court
Conduct depositions and witness/expert interviews
Review, analyze, and synthesize medical, financial, and case-related records
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in California
Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation defense experience
Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
Exposure to federal courts and familiarity with federal procedures is a plus
Thorough knowledge of California civil procedure and litigation practices
