Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm, OT as needed

Summary: 

Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems (including CNC Controls) by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Trouble shoots and repairs CNC controls and a variety of highly technical electronic equipment. This requires to ability to read and understand electronic schematics, use electronic diagnostic equipment and communicate with manufacturer service technicians.

· Repairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.

· Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools; starts devices to test performance.

· Adjusts functional parts of devices; Repairs or replaces defective parts; Installs special functional and structural parts in devices; lubricates and cleans parts; uses various tools and devices to make and repair parts.

· Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment.

· Follow all OSHA regulations such as confined spaces, LOTO, PPE, etc.

· Ability to work all shifts (including weekends) and on-call for plant emergencies.

· Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others.

· Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Training/Experience:

· High school diploma/GED; with two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as machine drawings, electronic schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Has to be able to diagnose issues with HMI, Drives and power supplies. So that you can get the next level tech involved.

Skills:

· Demonstrate Math proficiency as it relates to this job.

· Must be able to communicate with the production floor associates as well as upper management.

· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.

· Must be able to work alone as well as in a group setting.

· Will need to be a self-starter.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
