We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead and supervise construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the activities of construction teams, ensuring project deadlines are met, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and accurately
- Coordinate and schedule tasks, resources, and equipment to meet project timelines
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and protocols on the job site
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to maintain open lines of communication and resolve any issues that may arise
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise and guide construction teams throughout the project, ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively
- Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and address any potential obstacles or challenges to maintain project productivity and efficiency
- Implement and enforce safety procedures on the job site to protect the well-being of workers and ensure compliance with regulations
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of successfully leading and completing projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Proficiency in using construction tools, equipment, and software
