A well-established and respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced General Liability Attorney to join its growing Atlanta office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional looking to work with a dynamic team handling a broad range of civil litigation matters.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience managing general liability defense cases from inception to resolution, including bodily injury claims, premises liability, and property damage disputes. The firm offers a collaborative environment, competitive compensation, and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently handle a caseload of general liability matters
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
Take and defend depositions
Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
2+ years of experience in general liability or insurance defense litigation
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Trial experience is a plus
